Pt. Rajeev Janardan has worked on creating his own style of music which is peaceful and distinctive. He has contributed to the instrument as well developing a sitar which has the capability of producing music of both Maihar and Imdadkhani gharanas eliminating the need to choose between the two for both sitar enthusiasts and players that has existed for the last few decades now.
